Logs:
Normal server operation retains certain non-personal information such as IP address on all accesses to the site.

Cookies:
We use a couple of cookies to confirm that you have logged in properly and to make repeat visits to the site easier. You can block cookies, but you will have to re-enter your userID and password frequently as you browse the site. All cookies from this site will expire when you close your browser, except your user name cookie, which is used to help you log into the site faster on a return visit.

Personal Information:
Except where you grant permission, we will not intentionally reveal your personal information beyond the administration of the site and your subscription unless compelled to by law or ethical rules, or to protect the legal interests of a third party.

We will not share your personal infomation with outside marketers. Period.

We use standard security practices of Apache to restrict access to personal information. However, no computer system is guaranteed to be 100% secure. By using the site, you agree that TCPALaw and its operators will have no liability to you whatsoever in the event any unauthorized person obtaines any information you provide to the site.

If you subscribe to the site, your name, address, and contact information are stored by the site in your user profile, but other subscribers do not see it.

All users are listed in the site subscriber list by their "Screen Name." Only paid subscribers can view the subscribers list
If you chose not to have your information displayed, your Screen Name will appear on the subscriber list but not your contact information.
Others can send you e-mail through the site but they will not be given your e-mail address.
If you chose to post to the forums, your Screen Name and state will be displayed with your post.
If you chose post to forums on the site, others will be able to send you e-mail through the site in response to your post, but your e-mail address will not be revealed to them.
If you desire access to certain restricted areas, such as the “attorney-only” areas, Screen name AND your name, address, bar number, and other identifying information will be displayed only to other members with access to those same areas.

Financial information:
This web site does NOT request or use social security numbers, credit cards, or other information whatsoever related to money or financial transactions. Subscriptions are payable only by check or money order sent via regular U.S. Mail. If you are requested to provide any financial or credit information by someone claimed to be associated with this site, please contact us immediately.
